We followed these exhibitors from November to March. However, the preparation to compete at the Oklahoma Youth Expo begins much earlier. Likewise, the lessons learned last long after a show career has ended. We are privileged to have shared this year's journey with Blake, Chad, Lauren, Morgan and Ty. We wish them the best as they continue down the road to the ring.

To catch Road to the Ring participant Morgan Craig we stopped in Muskogee at the Muskogee County Show. Although a fierce competitor, Morgan has built strong friendships with her fellow showman. For many students the Oklahoma Youth Expo is a chance to meet new friends and catch up with old ones.

Blake and Ty Goss are involved in more than just showing pigs. In addition to preparing their animals for the @Oklahoma Youth Expo, their time is spent at basketball practice, FFA events and other school activities. Many Oklahoma Youth Expo Expo exhibitors aren't the first in their family to show livestock. Chad McGolden's older siblings Madison and Chase spent many years in the show ring.
